I saw someone on BlueSky say “Toyota EVs are sexy” I don’t get this romanticism of Toyota? It’s the GM of Japan. I’ve owned 2. An MR2 and a Matrix. Both manuals. Reliable and adequate but dull with odd gearing and almost no noise deadening so all you could hear was a strung out 4 cylinder at speed.

Or any brand in totality? It's just weird. Our IONIQ 5's are pretty incredible design icons given the brief and the best in class tech they pack that's still not rivaled by the competition, but I wouldn't call 'em sexy. weird folks.
