Exactly. I’ve been to other states and I couldn’t wait to get back to California. I worked on film years ago on the border of Indiana and Kentucky and there were no decent restaurants, no decent grocery stores, the food was god awful, the local people were very strange and I felt so uneasy.

I'm living in it now. Definitely things I don't like, but generally I'd rather be here then any red state and a lot of blue states.

Cali needs affordability and more safety. But it is still a beautiful, magical land full of opportunity for those who can make it there, and it kicks any red state into a cocked hat.
