Andrew Cuomo, tough guy who’ll stand up to Trump to protect New York? On Wednesday he told 50 NYC business leaders: “Personally, I don’t want to fight with him, I don’t think he’s going to be eager to create a conflict with us.” Instead, Cuomo’ll help him “find a way to be a hero in New York City.”

Cuomo should know what he’s opening a door to. He’s not naïve, but he’s arrogant enough to think he could control Trump by offering him a discrete this and that. Suddenly Trump is calling day and night asking for everything that crosses his mind. Awards, statues, plaques, double Democrats’ taxes….
