I'm not sure a classic Hitchcock film would be considered product but even if it was backed by a big studio I can't imagine they'd be telling the director what he could or couldn't do.

Why bother with these lame movies anyway, woke or not woke? Plenty other excellent cinematic fare to be had other than the formulaic drek spewing out of Hollywood. Just a fluff article.
