I honestly don't know how you can look at this stuff and not see it for what it is. That said, whooooooolllllllllleee lot of not reporting this stuff in the media, because they're afraid of getting their license pulled. I would never advocate for crime, but this is easier than ever to do:

Signal strength decreases as a square of distance. So, if you know the broadcast power and location of a transmitter, it doesn't take a lot of overpower the signal. One "Not Flightworthy" ARC-182 and a homebrew amplifier going to a multiplexed, 50' aerial? No Michael Savage on 101.
