It’s a fair point actually. I’m not convinced there’s many winners in there but with Ampadu/Tanaka out, he’d be such a useful backup, and he was pretty great last season. I think he even won players’ player of the season (why’d they not re-sign him?!)

That was where I was going with it. Can play and would be handy off the bench. No idea why he didn’t stick around but bringing in to be a squad player is fine.

Rumour is he’s been offered a load of money in Saudi but he’s seeing if he can get a good deal over here first, Wolves obviously didn’t offer enough
