Agreed, there should be protection from this. Doctors can help by ignoring the CDC recommendations, but then it becomes whether or not you can afford the vaccine on your own bc insurance wont cover vaccine anymore.😖

Yes, pharmacies aren’t allowing ppl to just get vaccine anymore. They’re reducing access for thousands if ppl! Millions will die if this isn’t revoked.

I think Europe is doing fine. And dumpty is hurting them too, if america’s economy falls…theirs does too. We’re in for a depression at this point. My MBA training has taught me quite a bit about what we can expect on the current trajectory & we’re going to suffer greatly from what dumpty has done.

covid vaccines are still covered thru insurance, blue cross blue shield says they cover it for eg... All FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines and boosters recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are considered preventive care and must be covered in full.
Right but they changed the ages recommendations. They don’t recommend vaccines for babies, or ppl under 65. The pharmacy wont give Covid vaccines to anyone unless you’re 65+, or immunocompromised. Insurance goes by CDC recs, so it wont cover cost if you’re under 65.

Do you have a CVS pharmacy where you live? I just saw online that they will cover the vaccine with "most" insurances...so yes, it's definitely gotten more complex to get the vaccine, walk in to a pharmacy. If you have a primary care doc, i would think they'd refer you & then ins has to cover.
CVS is denying ppl under 65 the shot. I called them. They’re going by the new recs from CDC.

i just found this bit: For people age 65 and older, the FDA's decision means Medicare will cover the shots. For everyone else, the answer is still evolving. Check with your insurer or the employer that provides coverage.

i noticed too that some of people i see for treatment at MD Anderson have started masking again...it's not required there anymore, but the staff & some employees are masking...so yah...i think it's good to keep protected still from covid...
I carry masks with me everywhere & will use them regularly starting very soon. I don’t go out to many places but isolation is awful! This is very bleak.😞
