Nicely put. The mechanics of this have the Dems as ineffectual cogs, or throwing themselves bodily into the machine. It still craps out gold for the Pubs. In another universe I'm very much gritting my teeth over this. It, however, is indicative of the bleeding rupture in US politics, bared for all.

Ineffectual, yes. Appeasement isn't the same as blatant inaction, which I believe is much more prevalent.

The Biden department of "justice" politically persecuted Biden's own son to appease the insurrectionist club. The charges against the peons was to appease the people. Without going after the bosses, as we've seen there is no justice, just more and more flagrant corruption.
