a small dedicated group and 50.5% of the electorate you mean? the reality is if you are purity testing for any issue other than the issue at hand then you are not maximizing your chance of success

Enemy of my enemy is quite likely still an enemy. If Bill Kristol wants to vote blue, attend a protest, or wave a sign, he is welcome to do so. But his actions are a significant factor in Trump's rise, and he should have no say in how the fight against authoritarianism is conducted
