sure but this is because "the draft" has been a talking point in men's online spaces to attack establishment ideas like feminism and aid to ukraine, not sure how much counter messaging will actually help, worth a try I guess

I mean it wouldn't be hard for the Democrats to rally around a policy of total abolition of the draft. Rightwingers might not believe they'll execute on such a policy promise, but there really is no downside to loudly proclaiming it.

I'm just okay with Democrats trying to win elections by means that might actually work. It would be a refreshing change from them continuing to try to appeal to the mythical moderate Republican.
