That’s a pretty stand out increase in 2020, especially in the contrast to the downward trend of the previous decades. Won’t look into the context of it at all though!

Look at the y-axis (it's truncated). It's actually just a 1% increase from the previous year (i.e., probably noise).

Yeah it was after the Covid lockdown, there was an unusually high decrease before that…this has been studied, and discussed at length by experts who aren’t racist Nazis.
