a couple of musical projects. I was in a band that opened for N.O.T.A. and we did a house show with Flipper back in 92, 93? Something like that (no one recorded us, just Flipper though). And since then, I've done a technopunk project called Pluto Is A Planet Damnet, and a hardcore punk/Oi! . . .
called Fwuffy da Destwoyah. Now I haven't done anything with this project in a good while because I lost my recording software in a computer crash and haven't been able to afford to replace it yet. But maybe someday. Anyway, so with the Fwuffy project, I did both original material. . .
and covers. And a couple of parodies. One of which was a parody of Skrewdriver's "White Power" as a song called "White Flour" - it's about baking some bread, you see? And I made a little video for it (as I have for all my tunes) and posted it to my YouTube channel. Things worked fine. Until one. . .
day I got an email from YouTube telling me they had taken down my White Flour video as noted in the attached. I even appealed it with a copy of the lyrics and they refused to restore it. Anyway I just thought it was funny that baking bread was spreading hate towards a group of people.
What made me think of this was all the posts about yet another mass shooting and people talking about the NRA and I did a parody of Skrewdriver's "Smash the IRA" as "Smash the NRA".
