Spent last Thursday & Friday driving from WA state to Montana for the Pow Wow. Woke up feeling sick today so decided to start the drive home. I just couldn’t deal w/stopping at another hotel so I pushed through. Started this morning and just made it home. Me, The Kid, & The Cat roadtrippin’ again.

In retrospect, the trip will be worth it, but that is a tough drive. Rest well. 💐

We give him sedatives for drives and he seems okay. He doesn’t like strangers so the hotel noises concern him but overall he does well. He has a chair in the car he sits in but the ride home The Kid sat in the back with him and he sat beside them the whole time. He was pretty chatty the last hour

Please be careful with that tactic. A young lady I knew was heading home from vacation; instead of stopping to sleep 150 km from home, she pushed on, fell asleep at the wheel, and drifting over the median. The police told her mother she wouldn't have felt the semi hit her head-on at 100 km/hr.n
I have driven across the country and driven on road trips since I was in my early 20’s. I always listen to my body and know when to stop. I was fine doing the drive. Plus, I had my kid and would NEVER put them in an unsafe situation. Ever.
Thank you for the reply. I am relieved. My young friend wasn't stupid; she was a nurse who thought she could push on for less than 2 hours to get home and sleep in her own bed. And will never do so.
