One time I went to a concert and the guy next to me was watching a baseball game on his phone with the sound on full volume. No jury would convict.
Jfccccc like movies and concerts are so expensive?? Why bother paying if you’re gonna do stuff like that.
One of the all time heroes of my entire life was a guy who literally stole someone's phone when they wouldn't stop texting (with NOTIFICATION SOUNDS ON) during a concert. She dropped it and he managed to take it and hide it. 😆 Gave it back after and pretended he "found" it.
So valid honestly
That guy deserves a medal
💯! Texter group went to the bar during a break between bands and I turned to him (a stranger) and said something jokey about them driving me nuts and he just said "😐 ... I stole her phone"
omg for how long?? pleaseeeeee tell me you went and got the manager
Maybe 2 minutes on FaceTime and then like people told her to stop and she stopped for a while. But kept picking it up every 10 mins or so to text and Snapchat! I didn’t want to go get the manager cause I didn’t want to miss parts of the movie 😭
I've been there, it also feels like such a sunk cost fallacy when they do it intermittently. Like "well I waited this long to do it and maybe they're done now" and then they aren't but I don't want to miss the movie 😭
Yeah exactly that 🙃
Once again Alamo Drafthouse is the best place for movies because you can just put up the little note for a waiter and they go and get a manager
I wish there was like buttons on the seat you can press to be like “sos someone is being an asshole pls send employee”
Thats almost literally what the alamo does except its mostly for ordering food and drinks lol
Alas if only the closest one to me wasn’t 800km away
I have only ever bad to use it once when I went to see 28 years later last month and it was a 10 pm showing and there was a mom with her two kids and the kids would not shut up (they were like 10 and 14)
people like that is one of the main reasons i don't go to the movies anymore.
