SD’s success is equally (if not more) due to the GM and his roster build approach than it is to the coach. For sure it’s been a masterful coaching job, but very few coaches get a roster like this to work with in a club’s inaugural season.

No. Heaps has done a great job but c'mon, Varas has got more young guys playing and developing than any other team in the league, including Philly. He's also managed without his starting 9, with his star spending a lot of time hurt, and has won multiple games with a backline whose total age was 80.
