Only 1 person in the whole study went from identifying as trans to not identifying as trans. The 1/5 number came from youth going between the binary and non-binary spectrum. This headline and post are misleading on purpose to fit the economist's editorial bent on the political issue.
Vaclav Havel wrote about the importance of pointing out the law in a totalitarian society - it may not help in a situation where the government makes and enacts laws willy-nilly, but calling it out keeps the insanity of it all in the open for all to see.

Agree 1000% in principle, but with Messi, Jordan and other GOATs it’s kind of a different beast. That’s less about being a sports fan and more about simple GOAT worship. Humans are attracted to greatness and we love our idols. And you only get to see them play so many games before it’s all over.

Yeah. Thats probably the most dominant factor: money. Attendance would be another, but I can’t imagine games in Mexico would be too much less attended than these ones. Most games that did not include Club America, Chivas, Tigres or maybe Monterey (plus Miami) were very sparsely attended
I suspect it’s a non starter for a bunch of reasons, but it would be cool if they alternated hosting each year so that next year all games were in Mexico.
