He’s retiree age, so would certainly fit Democratic criteria for a leadership position.

He’s 66. I’m all for bringing in and promoting up younger leaders, but do you really want to push down a 66 yo? This is not Schumer, Biden, or Trump age. Let’s not count someone out at 66, while they are at their peak experience.
