Weird that you said Russians fighting Afghanistan and not Americans fighting Afghanistan as the outcome was pretty much the same and the United States invasion of Afghanistan was much more recent and involved your own military 🤔

My comment was actually about American Exceptionalism and perceived moral superiority when it comes to illegal wars instigated (and lost) by the USA and its allies. I thought I made a pretty good point, actually. I've nothing more to add.

My own country, Britain, was unable to subdue Afghanistan in the 19th century. Your point is irrelevant, except to highlight the fact that Afghan people fought off much bigger and apparently much stronger foes
