It is hard and it doesn't seem to get easier. Sooo many people might see us as living their dream (I have been told that by people, so again, no arrogance), but inside I'm a fucking disaster. The thing is, we have poise and we know how to present ourselves. That doesn't mean life is plain sailing!

The depth varies depending on the thickness of the skin anyway, and eyelid skin is quite shallow, so you won't hit as hard. It wasn't really that difficult, but it's a very small amount of tattooing that when right up to the eyelid.
My point was about American Exceptionalism and perceived moral superiority when it comes to illegal wars instigated (and lost) by the USA and its allies. Also, you don't get to decide who's points are relevant and who's aren't, especially when you've missed the actual point.
It was fine actually, we just took it really slow. They needed a few breaks, but handpoke was definitely the way to go as it traumatises the skin much less.
