For serious though, it’s been a truism my whole life you can sit on your hands and a console will drop in price. This is honestly the first time I can recall in my 35 years of gaming a console goes up in price.

When my parents bought me my Gamecube, they got whatever kind of full warranty Best Buy pushed on them. It stopped working at some point and because the price had dropped so much, I was able to get a brand new one and a couple of games. Now a Switch 1 is more expensive than when I first bought one
