In the article, it points out he’s solely referring to trade and foreign policy, as he’s perfectly fine with the fascism. But you couldn’t get the one without the other.

I absolutely agree with the op that art, like everything we pursue to enrich our lives, does not belong solely to the naturally talented. And willingness to do the work to improve is more important. But it’s also worth remembering that good stuff can look like anything at all.
Something that never shows up in these discussions that makes me nuts is there’s tons of very technically accomplished art that leaves me cold, and tons of amateur or untrained art that is wholly successful. The key being that it has discovered a truth. Something uniquely human.
Being assured by organizations that they won’t be paid for is the most human thing about AI.

Something I’ve been trying to work through in my head is how conservatives are art scavengers. Seemingly incapable of producing anything, they just steal and repurpose whatever tickles their id. The Punisher logo, stolen Kinkaide art, pissing Calvin. No wonder they love AI. It’s all just taking.
