Isn't that an anxiety thing? The fear that you could be misinterpreting lack of punctuation as dismissive, or a hard stop as anger, when the other person may just have a hard time typing on a phone (or worse, using voice to text)?

(Well ok I guess if we're talking about people with 8th grade reading levels talking to people who DO pick up on those subtleties there's a LOT of chance for misinterpretation. 😅 )
