It’s a question meant to take advantage of the emotions and love of a parent, to convince them to permanently alter their child, who is at a confused stage in life when they are still developing both mentally and physically, when there is no actual evidence to support the decision. Yes, that is evil

respect, you started off strong! it is indeed a question intended to *evoke emotion* that is not a bad thing bc even *if* all of your caveats are correct (and they are not), the choice still comes down to "respect and accept a young person as human with agency" vs "see them suffer"

choosing to withhold appropriate care from a trans child causes suffering even when that appropriate care is simply accepting that they are trans and i get the sense that you are unwilling to do even that

This is why they SHOULD be getting onto HRT right away and not blockers, this is why it is recommended by many countries across Europe. I have helped dozens of kids to get on HRT myself as we all should.
