There's been far less inflation in beans (so far), so this means that your coffee place is paying its staff more and/or paying more in rent (which means everybody who could work in that spot is making more money). This is the entire goal of left/labor macro that juices employment, causing inflation

You're literally looking at the chart that includes all inputs to the prepared coffee product, including rent and labor.

Raw coffee has actually inflated too - because we created inflation and people are willing to pay more for coffee either at home or out - but as with many commodities, the price is volatile. And is a tiny fraction of what you pay for at the cafe. fred.stlouisfed.org/series/APU00...
