5.5 years we held the line. My wife just got COVID—for the first time. My daughter & I are still clear. This surge is real. The science is real. Covid is accelerating aging and causing vascular disease, immunological dysfunction and neurological damage. Act like it.
I hope she enjoys as full a recovery as possible. And good luck with staying clear--it's doable with respirators, filters, nasal spray and boosters!
It makes me so angry. People decided it was too hard to do something about it so they’ve done nothing. I hope your wife is able to clear it quickly and you and your daughter remain infection free.

Ugh. My family managed to avoid secondary infections after my spouse caught it: both me and spouse wore respirators 24/7. Separate bathrooms. Windows open. Multiple HEPA filters. Luck. Baby obviously didn't wear a respirator, but didn't appear to get it. It was a week from hell tho

Crap. Hope you and your daughter can stay clear of it & really hoping that, with the fact that she was likely masked at the time of exposure, her infection stays light. Do you guys have a Navage nasal irrigation system? Saline can really reduce viral replication.
