If you think Covid is “mild,” “over,” harmless to kids, or that a shot + handwash = safety… you’ve been influenced by paid minimizers. They’re everywhere, shaping the narrative. It feels conspiratorial, but it’s just PR. Bad actors; grifters too. LC is horrifying & there’s no cure. That’s the truth.

Oof, found that post and it's so very interesting. It's almost as if he's absorbed every single ounce of propaganda & absorbed it as if it is his own deeply held belief wo regard to his own personal experience. His risk/reward schema is faulty, which makes sense given that's a prefrontal cortex

Seen this before w another friend who asserted that her brain had been impacted by COVID but that she was happier now as she cared less. She recalled that the impacts to the brain were what worried her. She stated her IQ had demonstrably dropped but..she was happier. It's f'ing weird.

Yep. Ironically enough, she registered that her changes were terrifying as well. She was literally terrified & happy at the same time. Giggling. My rheumatologist went from a stoic clinician to a giggling schoolgirl as well post-COVID.

Bizarre!! I've heard so many stories like this and the uncanny factor never goes away.

I hate the fact that others are experiencing things like this, too. Then I run into people who say that they know no one like that or with Long COVID and it's just...ugh.

The ones that make me a bit crazy are the folks who do know someone with debilitating long covid, and STILL aren't masking. Like. What.

The ones like that, I figure, are operating on the rationalizing that as being something about that person causing the Long COVID and since their own infections didn't do the same, they'll be fine. Without, ofc, realizing that the risk is cumulative.

Yep. I'm actually really grateful for the conversation. She was highly aware of the changes & is a very smart woman. She's keeping tabs on herself and I respect that so much.
