I had some trouble getting the new Stalker to run, but a quick Google later I had it running and then I remembered how bad it is.

At a former workplace we would play Stalker deathmatch once a week in the evening, that was fairly good. As a single player campaign I never got on with it, I thought it might look better through my now more-seasoned eyes. Nope!

It's more the interaction with others and the enjoyable time had, that makes the game special in our memories. i have the same sort of fond recollection of MUDs from the 1990s, because friends and I were on them together having a blast.
