Got two options in Welsh. The charming, child-like, cartoonish 'pysgod wibli-wobli' (wibbly wobbly fish) Or, my fave... 'cont y mor' (Mor is 'sea', you can do the rest)

Seems unfair to conts.

I like the idea that the wibbly wobbly timey wimey jellyfish of doom might appear in the next series of Dr Who. Simon posted a link for those of us who didn't do that bit of Welsh when we were growing up, and couldn't quite believe what we were reading. Shocked, I tell you. bsky.app/profile/mzdt...

And then there is ‘cont y bin’ which is more correctly known as a gwenynen or wasp.

I’m assuming the two name options are dependent on if it’s a stinger or not?

That's hilarious. Definitely adding that one to my (meagre) Welsh vocab.
