Trump is intentionally using tariffs because they are notoriously difficult to explain, consumers don’t always see them, and he can pass the blame to others. Also, it creates a slush fund so he can build a new ballroom and fund his secret police (ICE)

Wow. The US need to invest some money in their public schools. But instead the department of education is removed.

The thing is, we don't need to spend more money on eduction. The US already spends more per capita than most OECD countries (38% higher than the OECD average and fifth overall for elementary and secondary education, after Luxembourg, Norway, Austria, and South Korea; figures from 2019). And we...

...that our method of having so much education control be so localized, and yet at the same time with cities, counties, and states having some control too, is a big part of the problem. And I'd agree with that. But it goes deeper: far too many Americans no longer see education as a good in...

Is the spending including all the private schools? When you have entities that are there to make money and not JUST to make the pupils smarter and ready for the real life, things get more expensive. And don't compare EU and the US. EU is not a country.
