Just listened to a podcast with a fireworks vendor in a rural area in Kentucky or something, and he said this 4th of July was one of his best years ever, and he thinks it’s because people are feeling more optimistic about the economy under this administration. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Not sure where it all started, but defunding education and non-stop right-wing propaganda on Fox News and eventually on social media, helped along the way. It appears critical thinking is optional now. Never mind the nefarious Christo Fascists working behind the scenes since the Reagan years.

It’s certainly been a work in progress but you’re right, “news” turning into a propaganda machine and social media have definitely accelerated it… Has to be the biggest and most widely spread cult in the history of humanity
