AI is neither moral or immoral in and of itself. It cannot think, feel, or act in and of itself. Its results are determined by the programming or prompts created by the humans involved.

That particularly applies to LLMs rather than broad AI, but even then hallucinations rates diminish with each frontier model. But in terms of predictiveness yeah, it’s just billions of probabilities being calculated to guess the next word in a sequence for the output based on the prompt given.
