While this is clearly hogwash it is also worth noting that being deferential is antithetical to what a judge has vowed to do, which is uphold The Law and not any one person’s opinions.

There is a serious point here. The emergence and continuation of a despotic regime requires there to complicity by the legislative, judicial, armed forces, law enforcement elements of government and fourth estate. Now you decide which if any of these elements have already surrendered.
