I think that has more to do with Trump‘s willful ignorance. He is so sure of himself that if you tell him that his man crush has been humiliating his wife, he’ll accuse you of being fake news deep state blah blah blah. Trump can’t speak Russian. He’s not gonna watch Russian state media to verify.
