Income inequality is a problem in America
True, but you could've used a way better example, especially when CEOS are getting 90+million a year with bonus in comparison to a comedian who has his own show getting paid 17 million. Colbert and his pay isn't affecting America like alot of talentless CEOS paychecks, stock options, cash bonus are.
I hear ya, I just the post and the outrageous salary and that’s what came to my brain.
The post is outrageous because there is no source and people are eating it up without any corroboration.
I had to look myself, and you're 100% correct. This hasn't happened. He made a comment "Netflix Call me," and that's it.
Given a president who “donates his salary” yet grifts money and power everywhere else he can, as well as spending more than said salary on travel, Secret Service protection, and so on golfing at his courses most weekends, I’d be loath to say that Colbert is undeserving of this contract.
Yep, trump has made a crap ton off the office, it’s gross. Colbert is super talented, just hope he uses that outrageous salary to help the underprivileged.
He and many, many others similarly situated… but I believe he does so quietly. I’d have to check, but I can’t imagine him not doing so.
He seems like a good dude for sure
He donates to his own accounts pretending it is charity. Nothing he does is cost efficient. Nor charitable.
