Also, I haven’t seen this. Should I watch it? For example, I didn’t like One Piece though I did like the live action Avatar series. Which is it more like?

Neither? Honestly it’s kind of like Spider-Verse in that it’s very much unlike anything previously seen, and it’s tonally a bit like one of the weird Disney musicals that comes out of nowhere like Encanto. It’s tough to find things to compare it to.

I was skipping it because it looked like something that would appeal only to kids. For me that's what One Piece turned out to be. Maybe I'll check it out, maybe I won't

Honestly for an audience like us I think it depends on whether or not you can unironically, noncynically appreciate the music and just get into the world/vibe. But also didn’t you watch the Amazon War of the Worlds?

Don't remind me. Amazon Prime showed a movie where the world was saved by an Amazon delivery driver. Had the delivery not been made on the same day, we'd all be dead. It did make me miss our old home game

Right. Just saying unless you have a specific aversion to animated musicals based in the “youth” culture of like the last decade there are demonstrably worse ways you could spend 95 minutes.
