If your argument is that US service members will refuse to fight because the US is hypocritical, this is extremely not evidenced. The US military is not without manpower to fight in the strait of Formosa due to morale issues.

Ideally the US doesn't get involved in a war with China at all and should be sending zero weapons to all these countries, but if you'll look at the beginning of the thread, the question was precisely whether the US should attack mainland China.
