Does anyone else get an intense feeling of despair and loneliness every night or is it just me

Y'all don't understand the restraint it is taking to not just ramble/vent more :/

I think it can be beneficial to ramble and vent even more; you know, don't want to have those bad feelings bottle up

Totally agree, but Bluesky isn't the best place for it I like venting on here because 1) A lot of social media focuses on exclusively positives and paints a false picture of someone's life. I struggle a lot and that's something I don't wanna hide. 2) It gives me a feeling of screaming into the void

But there's a limit and I've crossed that line a few times. Either over sharing things that aren't the business of anyone outside my friend group or being harsh enough to bring down other's moods.

I see my therapist in about an hour, and do a ketamine treatment this afternoon. Those are definitely the best places to discuss these feelings in more depth. And the best part? No 300 character limit lol

Ohh yeah, a therapist is definitely extremely helpful, most likely significantly better than trying to vent on social media...

Once you start making the habit of entertaining that thought process at night, your brain will become wired to do it. Make sure to challenge your thoughts whenever they appear, and every time they appear. Re-wire your brain to think positively and eventually it’ll become automatic.

Ofc it’s easier said than done but trust me it’s a proven process. Therapy and medication can also dramatically improve your overall mental health if you’re not already doing that. I hope you feel better by the next couple weeks :)
