I strongly advise you *not* to block people over mindless talk. It helps solidify the walls around them and keeps them in the dark. We want to educate them. We educate people by letting them into our circles... maybe not our inner circles, mind you. Only block them once they push your boundaries.

Thing is, they don't know they've been shamed if they're blocked. Shame them, but don't block them. Let them see they're idiots. Maybe just mute them if you're going to avoid them. Then, they still see your disapproval but can't get on your nerves anymore. If they harass you after that, block them.

You may be right, but you never know until you try. Exposure to the other side of an argument is the only way to learn how truly idiotic you are. I, for one, don't like living in a bubble. However, this specific user, @rhino0321, is definitely not interesting in learning... based on their behavior.
