My lesson for the day is that if you're awaiting a email for a job interview, check your spam folder. Not that it matters if the phones are down at the place you're interviewing so it didn't matter.... But still.

Got a call back. *Finally* got a in person interview. While it's not what I went to school for it would be excellent in the meantime. Lumberjack redneck stuff that I like. Trying not to get hopes up but stay positive too.
Interview day. Trying not to get myself worked up too much. The last real in person interview I had was in 2010 😬... At least the guy sounded mostly relieved to talk with me on the phone 🤞
Was pretty much offered the job. But it was in Bemidji. Way too far. Offered a traveling sales rep job but that's not my game. The interview went well but just not for where I applied. Did sound like there may be some shuffling to fit me in but not holding my breath.
Another interview with the same place for a much higher ranking job. Why not try something scary and different? Actually terrifies me a bit but I suppose that's a way to grow.
It's not until 2:00 today. That thing where you're in purgatory until it happens. Yeah. At least I'm not really nervous for the interview this time. More nervous about doing something out of my comfort zone but kinda excited too.
Does help too that they called me back without me applying for it. I think they want me on board.
Welp, no call back after they said they'd call me back the day of or after the last interview. Writing that one off and taking the experience with me. Hadn't had a interview proper since 2010 so it helped me relax and gain confidence with that.
Good luck!
Yeah I’ve had this happen multiple times. There’s also fake ones which makes this even worse.
