It's very simple. It's a play by Russia to disrupt the stability of the base population in the U.S. Get a quarter of the people sick and we become busy dealing with that. It creates a power vacuum around the world they want to fill. They're playing the long game while we can't think 5 minutes ahead.

Welp, no call back after they said they'd call me back the day of or after the last interview. Writing that one off and taking the experience with me. Hadn't had a interview proper since 2010 so it helped me relax and gain confidence with that.

The Fiat is the winner but what are you really winning? In 2018 the 500x was the same platform as the jeep renegade which might be the same base for the compass and patriot. At least it uses the ZF transmission. The 2.4 is another world engine that chugs oil like beer at a frat party though.

Wuff's ATV appears to be fixed. The Stihl fires right up. Thursday my ATV threw the shifter rod while I was backing up the trailer to dump grass clippings in the mulch pit out back. Lol, the shit luck comes in threes. At least it's easyish to fix when parts show up.

My tomatoes are almost as tall as me. Saw one that was starting to turn red. All the other plants are thriving. Got a decent amount of broccoli and a couple other things. Nice to see the work starting to pay off.
Totally agree. We'll probably end up doing a multi split type system since we have a fuel oil furnace. Expensive but will be worth it for health benefits.

We have some venison I got last fall so we made venison nachos. Don't eat much red meat (part due to price here) so it was a treat. It's amazing how good venison works with Mexican spices. I don't hate tofu, its a sponge for seasoning but Wuff despises it. Texture isn't always super admittedly.

Was pretty much offered the job. But it was in Bemidji. Way too far. Offered a traveling sales rep job but that's not my game. The interview went well but just not for where I applied. Did sound like there may be some shuffling to fit me in but not holding my breath.

Was more choked up seeing Ozzy's last Momma I'm Coming Home, it still got me a bit fucked up hearing that he passed. Loved the music but also always had his TV shows on back in the day. Really enjoyed the one with him and Jack travelling around. Some of the antics made me feel normal(ish).
