Fucks sake. It's finally decent temps but now we get smoke. Guess it's another week of sweat cause I can't open windows. Canada, I love ya but y'all gotta quit setting yourself on fire. *I truly feel for anyone in Manitoba or Western Ontario dealing with the fires/smoke it's waayyy worse up there*
This is why I'm installing a new A/C. I don't like it, but like, the outdoors sucks enough that it effects my health sometimes. And new a/c systems are cheap enough to run it makes sense to just switch, it's like, the same cost as a whole house fan but the hose doesn't get gross and humid at night.
Totally agree. We'll probably end up doing a multi split type system since we have a fuel oil furnace. Expensive but will be worth it for health benefits.
Yeah compared to fuel oil it should be a bit cheaper in operation, or at least, not involved having to get oil/fuel deliveries.
