It's very simple. It's a play by Russia to disrupt the stability of the base population in the U.S. Get a quarter of the people sick and we become busy dealing with that. It creates a power vacuum around the world they want to fill. They're playing the long game while we can't think 5 minutes ahead.
Furthermore, it's a multi faceted situation where they have bankrolled several different situations, simultaneously, to mess us up. Quite successfully, I might add. Unfortunate that a whole side of the USA political coin has mostly bought into it.
I remember being curious why Jill Stein was invited on that junket to Moscow with Mike Flynn. She's never been elected mayor even. But it became clear with covid that she was recruited for her credentials (Harvard BA+MD) plus anti-establishment vaccine ambivalence.
