I'm assuming they've just been in use long enough they stuck? I'm watching G Gundam on crunchyroll which only has sub and so far I'm not at the god gundam yet but they definitely still call the devil gundam Devil in the official subs.

Yeah, the English dub had to change some names in G Gundam. Probably because too many people complained about the Deathscythe Hell in Wing.

They renamed the Devil Gundam to the Dark Gundam cause they didn't want to risk people raising a stink over it like they did with Deathscythe Hell during Wing's airing. And also changed God Gundam to Burning Gundam for good measure

Not sure how true it is, but big chains like Wal-mart either covered the name with a sticker or sent them all back to Bandai

I find it a little weird that they still refuse to change things back to Devil Gundam and God Gundam. But I guess it's not really worth complaining about either

Yeah, Dynazenon is great, but it's better if you watch Gridman first.

You gotta watch both SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.Dynazenon for many reasons, not least of which is that the battle themes for both series kick total ass. It's animated tokusatsu with giant robots and they did the fight animation to match the style of the live-action tokusatsu fights from the original show

Dynazenon rules, it’s the sequel to SSSS GRIDMAN, which also rules, and there’s a sequel crossover film, GRIDMAN Universe. The film seems mixed depending who you ask, but I loved it
