Majestic Prince is pretty good imo

I paid $200 for the first print edition of the Kotbukiya model kit of this the other year because it included extra arsenal and I don't regret it one bit

It has a couple pretty good fights. (My borderline cancellable opinion was that it was the best mecha series of 2013, a year that also had Gargantia and the start of Gundam Build Fighters).

If I try to be objective the show is largely mid with some good and some… questionable choices. I did enjoy it and will likely find the movie someday. It’s trash but trash I enjoyed. So it’s hard to shit on it too hard.

Suzukaze and Ange are probably the best parts about it tbh. Well, and banger songs. And very pretty camera work in battle scenes using the 3d environment and models to the fullest, Studio Orange really came out swinging.

It's alright, like it's less Ange gender neutral stuff and more tropey jokes around everyone being defective and "why is everyone in my room again" stuff. The fights towards the end are appropriately hype. They're my kinda idiots so I enjoyed it.

Honestly I was skipping through the majestic prince sections bc I did not care about those children. This one can be my golden child tho.

It's a pretty fun show despite the literal plot being pretty basic. Ange is kind of a 6th ranger type though so they don't show up for a while and are kinda just there after their initial spotlight

I really like MJP, probably one of best "recent" real robot shows (not that are many). The story is safe but the characters are fun and the battles great

MJP is like an alternate Gundam SEED that's better because it's clear it knows it's stupid and leans into the stupid for comedy It's also got better action scenes than the average show

No, Ange's gender is kind of just a joke in MP. It's not referenced often but the joke is the team is confused about it and has no idea what to refer to them as. Also the show's primary sex appeal character is 14 and at one point has to go to a PR photoshoot in a sexy bikini. The show is gross.
