I saw Duran Duran before they were really on the radio yet open for Til Tuesday in like 1986. They were announced as "the next Beatles" I was like who r these f-ing joksters where's Aimee Mann? But they were of course great.
All due respect...they were selling out huge stadiums in 1984. I know because I attended Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, at the time the biggest venue. Are you sure you didn't see them earlier?
