Totally. When I was younger I hadn’t been diagnosed and I was a little more worried about being seen as rude or annoying, so it took me too long to start telling bosses to stop telling me things until I had a notebook to write them down

I have been on the wall about how much I buy my diagnosis but things that other ADHD people share have made me accept it. I used to have such a hard time following verbal instructions but never knew it was a sign of ADHD.
Yeah, the main thing about it for me is helping me see that the easy way for other people might be the hard way for me, and it’s okay to find the easy way for me even if it seems a little silly or rigid or convoluted to other people
Figuring out the easy way for me sometimes comes naturally (carry notebooks) and sometimes I’m still trying to work it out (how does anyone go to bed on time)
Forgot to add, reading a book seems to work wonders.
Ugh. I have to wear myself out by bedtime to fall asleep. If I dont, I can be overstimulated.
