I just reread The Wicked+The Divine by @mckelvie.bsky.social & @kierongillen.bsky.social in it's entirety and it's such a perfect book. A full and complete story that doesn't need a page more or less. It's a book that while reading seems it's about everything you need it to be about it. A miracle.

It's a series which uniquely benefits from a re-read or two because there are a couple of mid-series and late-series reveals which so recontextualize everything from earlier in the story that having the experience of re-experiencing that with that fuller set of info means you're getting a new story.
Plus the first time I was reading it monthly and I think this benefits from reading it collectively.
I started buying it in trade paperback form when it was about half-way through its run, and so I had the good luck of getting to the first big reveal just a month or so after I started reading it, and then went back and re-read everything I had JUST read immediately.
I think Gillen and McKelvie are one of those teams that just make magic when they work together too. Like Ennis/Dillon or Brubaker/Phillips.
