back in 1947, there was a book called All-Negro Comics #1. It was the first comic by and for black folks, and thanks to the efforts of @chrisrobinson.info & crew, it's coming back from Image Comics this fall. I wrote a little bit about it. I started playing Zenless Zone Zero tonight and it's kinda fun! It's a post apocalyptic urban fantasy arpg. Be aware it does have gatcha elements, but I'm staying clear of those.

This is where Iโm at too. Young people who donโt want to work in the biz say comics is comics is comics. Day 1 of my college course in saw the most popular book polled as Abso Batman, followed by a few manga heads while majority nodded at the mention of Capt Underpants (and 1 super Sonic fan!). 1/3

So here's where it gets a little tricky: The verb "bus," in the sense of "clear a table," is a back-formation taken from "busboy," and the "bus" in "busboy" possibly derives from "omnibus," meaning "for everyone," because a busboy does all sorts of odd jobs for everyone else on staff. POSSIBLY.

Credit your your collaborators, credit the entire creative team, credit the publisher, mention the release date. At least in the main posts, obviously it's not possible/pragmatic every time you're plugging on social media but start off with credit where it's due.

Ha, it's an amazing time to be a fan really. I love it. I just started really getting into Manga and European comics after dabbling in both over the years and it's already whole new worlds opening up.
Why's everyone trying to rush the holidays? As my son says "Chill, bruh". No need to rush to Halloween and then rush to Christmas. Let it come naturally. Lol If we're going to rush to anything, rush to Nov. 2029.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 567456: Varying the length of your sentences allows you to vary the pace of your narrative. Long sentences tend to slow the pace down: short ones speed it up again.
Though I've totally had that happen in real life A LOT.
My hated one is "Let's You and Him Fight" where heroes have a misunderstanding or are manipulated into fighting each other. I think the "The questionable utopia" trope could be re-imagined. What if the reader and character doubt it, but it actually is a utopia, maybe?

Absolute Superman has kind of a Batman vibe going on. Hope for those who need it, but appears scary for those he's against.
It's not bad, the performances are good, but it just seems stretched out. They spent most of the money on the acting and the underwater shots i think.
It's worth watching just don't go in expecting it to be something amazing and you'll enjoy it.

Just watched Slingshot. While it was interesting I can't say it is worth watching because the initial premise doesn't really work with what is later revealed in the movie. Movies that question all of reality really don't serve a purpose because you can't believe anything in the movie, negating it.
Every time someone has Spider-Man web some food to grab it and then eat it I think โwell heโs eating that webbing isnโt he?โ And get just a tiny bit annoyed. It doesnโt just come off toast! Peter wouldnโt waste that bite, either. Just a small stupid hill to sit and die on, alone.
Oh no! He was great in everything!!! I'll miss seeing him in new work. He always seemed like a great guy too in interviews.
Hoopla is great, but even when i had 16 borrows a month i always ran out immediately, now that it's 8..i run out even faster. It's September 1st and I'm done for the month.
