Irvine had one (1) good book in him & some decent short stories. He's decently read but uninteresting & uncomplicated. He's an old duffer from Leith with good taste in music who likes drugs. He's still doing the 'one pill changed my life' thing. The well isn't dry, it's filled-in & build over.
