Just casually wondering aloud how those R senators would have responded if footage of one of their ranks being dragged out and forced face down to the ground was widely circulating.

2 weeks after the incident a "Lone wolf" would commit mass violence while quoting that senator. And reporters would accuse the shooter of being a secret trans crisis actor. And when that was debunked they'd throw him a parade and say the victims, a literal baby, wwii vet & cop, had it coming.
